The room was nice however there is a small brown shelf mounted in the corner above the toilet. Every time I’ve been down to open the toilet lid and stood back up. I would smack my head on the corner of that shelf not a good location for people who are tall anyway.

Perfectly situated in Old Town. We walked everywhere. You can even walk to and from the train station.

Ich war eher enttäuscht. Zimmer klein und mit zu vielen Möbelstücken. Badezimmer war bei Check-in nicht bereit (das erwarte ich einfach bei dieser Hotelkategorie). TV hatte Störung (auch das sollte nicht passieren). Am Abreisetag klopfte es um 11 Uhr an der Tür. Ich kam gerade aus der Dusche. Mitarbeiter fragte, ob ich Kaffee oder Tee brauche. Warum, wenn man spätestens um 12 Uhr auschecken muss und die Schublade noch vollgepackt ist mit Tee und Kaffee? Das war unnötiger Stress.

Score is likely tainted with are American preferences. The buffet offered did not include and warm options although a good selection of cold meats and cheeses. Ordering from the menu was available, but the pancakes didn't seem freshly made and more the miro-wave kind. My experience was satisfying but my wive and teenage boys take this rating to average.

Nice clean rooms and we got a high floor as requested. We had two - one for our two teenagers and one for us. Disappointed they had a balcony yet our room did not but the windows opened fully and it was a fantastic view!

The room air conditioner wasn’t working and we were extremely hot. We had two nights of not sleeping that well. They tried to help us out and gave us fans the second night and by the third night the air got cooler after somebody came in and fixed it. They did take a night off of our bill which we were satisfied with. I also thought the quality of all the towels could’ve been a lot better. Everything else was top-notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The restaurant was extremely good and we wish we would’ve ate there more than once.

When booking the room, please emphasize very clearly that reservations for the restaurant terrace be made well in advance. Even though we stayed at the hotel for 6 nights it was difficult to secure a table for any night. In the end the hostess was VERY helpful and got us a table on Saturday June 13, thank you!

I loved staying at the suite because the balcony looks absolutely beautiful. The location is also very convenient. But my room was lacking a kettle for me to boil water and I didn’t get any mineral water which is typically expected of a 4 star hotel.

The rooms were very spacious and clean and we loved the river view. It was so beautiful. The location of the hotel is very convenient for walking everywhere and the front of the hotel is so beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings and the bar in the evenings. The staff at both places were great!

We knew something was special when we noticed multiple tour groups stopping in front and outside our window. So we read up on the history and felt our being there all the more special. Spontaneous dinner on the terrace ( we were nicely accommodated last minute because we were hotel guests and had come to have the complimentary wine) and the Michelin star kitchen did not disappoint. It was heavenly sitting along the river, away from the tourist crowds enjoying an extraordinary meal. Finally, the highlight was discovering the hotel balcony in the morning. A beautiful sound was echoing along the river and we focused our eyes to the front of the church directly across. There a man played the Swiss horn to passersby. Another memorable moment in Lucerne.

Everyone was wonderful except for the bitter, bald bartender who couldn’t wait to try to intimidate a woman. He was a jerk and refused to help me find the way to the terrace after the terrace door was stuck. I do not judge your hotel by his actions but I want you to be aware of it.
