This is an older hotel but very comfortable, clean and you can't beat the location. A great value for a property right on the river. Our room looked exactly like what I saw online which is not always the case. The hotel has an efficient app that you can use for any requests. The in room coffee/tea selection was very good, and the staff made sure the coffee/tea maker always had water in it so just one more thing a guest does not have to worry about. The room is serviced everyday with an evening turn down. I think the attention to small details is what can make or break an experience and Hotel Balances does a great job with the small details.

Im Zimmer 111 wÃ¼rde ich mir einen WC-Deckel wÃ¼nschen, der beim schliessen bremst (wusste gar nicht, dass es immer noch andere gibt). und die Duschkabine schliesst nicht dicht.

Overall excellent. Outstanding location, excellent room(s). I would say, though, that our second room was not nearly as comfortable as the suite. I wonder if there is something in between. Since our daughters were staying in the standard room, I didn't worry about it, but I did wonder if there was something in between those two experiences.

We had two rooms. Our suite at the end of the hall was fantastic. Spacious, with a quirky layout, it served as our family "hang out" as we were getting ready to explore the city. The second room was a standard double room with river view which was much smaller. It didn't bother our kids, but it was pretty compact!

Location was the best- highly recommend you communicate clearly that gps will not guide you to hotel unless you switch to walkingâ¦I literally had to park somewhere and walk to hotel and the valet came back with me to get car.
