We loved our room even with a city view of a roof. That said I thought the Air Conditioning was on the weak side. The room was cooler than outside but not really cool. After a few minutes in the room it started to feel a bit warm. I found the shower in the bathroom very tight and I had to stand sidewise in the tub to fit in the shower. Water pressure and temperature were great. 2 more inches for my feet in the tub would have been better. The shower was tighter than any cruise shower I've ever been in. Bed was comfortable. Very nice to get additional power adapters at the front desk.

The room itself is good, but Room 400 has a serious safety concern. There is a slanted, protruding section of the wall in the middle of the room that someone could easily hit their head on, especially when getting up or moving around at night. This could potentially cause a serious injury. This area should be properly covered with impact-absorbing protective material. Safety must always come first, particularly in a hotel in Switzerland. In my opinion, if this hazard cannot be properly addressed, Room 400 should not be used as a guest room at all and would be better converted into a storage or non-guest area. Using it commercially as a hotel room in its current condition is simply not appropriate.

Excellent the reception staff were extremely helpful when we asked to move rooms due to the high balcony on the fifth floor (we couldnât see anything). The 2 gents at breakfast were great -extremely friendly and helpful especially as the one had lived in wales near where we were from and we had a great chat with him

Amazing - just sad we didnât have more time to experience the restaurant and take breakfast. We were in Lucerne for a towing competition and so had to be up and away very early each morning - next time we will have more free time to enjoy the beautiful hotel and facilities

We have been planning this trip for almost a year and requested a connecting room. That did not happen. We have 3 kids and it just wasnât ideal to be separated and by a whole hallway. When we called and when our travel agent called we were brushed off with âweâre tryingâ but clearly not hard enough. It was disappointing because everything else was perfect. Your hotel location is perfect, the rooms are clean, the breakfast amazing and the kids loved ice cream.

It would be a 5 if you could have given us connecting rooms. Or at a minimum rooms next to each other.
