Das Zimmer welches wir hatten war sehr klein, man kam kaum um das Bett. Die VorhÃ¤nge, sowie der Betthintergrund waren ziemlich beschmutzt. Ansonsten sehr gut. Jedoch wird es nicht mehr lange gehen und es mÃ¼sste alles mal wieder auf Vordermann gebracht werden, da der Punkt zum alt werden des Betriebes vor der TÃ¼r steht.

Der Kellner hat die falsche Sauce gebracht. Wir haben Ihn darauf aufmerksam gemacht, doch bei mehrfachem Nachfragen hat er immernoch behauptet es sei die richtige Sauce, dann haben wir die Chefkellnerin gefragt und sie hat uns bestÃ¤tigt, dass es die falsche Saice war. Angelogen zu werden war nicht besonders schÃ¶n. Durch die nicht bestellte Saice hat uns das Essen auch nicht so geschmeckt, da die Sauce nicht unser Geschmack war.

The front desk staff welcomed us the moment we arrived. Although our room was not yet ready, they offered to hold our luggage while we explored the city - which they then delivered to our room before we came back to check-in. We've always enjoyed our stays with Des Balances and realize in the past we've reserved a family room generally, but we were quite surprised at the difference in the size of the room we had on our last visit with those we've stayed in before. While space was certainly well utilized, it would have been nice to have had more room for luggage and maneuvering around the room, as everything was rather cozy.

While we have visited Luzern on 3 or 4 occasions, most prior visits were by day trips from Zurich. We decided to spend 4 nights on this trip to take advantage of trips to the mountains and lake cruises on the occasion of my wife's significant birthday. We were not disappointed. Our overall experience was terrific. We greatly appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the front desk staff. They were terrific as was the food and food service.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel des Balances in Lucerne. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town along the river, and our room was one of the highlights of our stay. We especially loved having a balcony overlooking the river, the beautiful church, and the historic bridge. The view from our room was beautiful, and it was a real pleasure to sit on the balcony and take in the scenery. A special shout-out to Diana and Edger at the front desk. They were both extremely helpful and took the time to give us great advice on navigating the area, getting around, and making the most of our time in Lucerne. Their friendliness and willingness to help really made a difference. I also want to mention the young, strong gentleman who helped my wife with her luggage when we first arrived. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but we truly appreciated his help and warm welcome. Overall, Hotel des Balances gave us a very memorable stay. Great location, a beautiful room with an amazing view, and, most importantly, a wonderful team that genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. FÃ¼r mich passte dieses Mal die QualitÃ¤t der Zubereitung und PrÃ¤sentation voll, nachdem ich in der Vergangenheit nicht so ganz zufrieden war. 2. Mir wurde ein Tisch freigehalten, obwohl ich bei der Bitte um Reservierung noch nicht sagen konnte, wann meine vorangehende Veranstaltung in der Hofkirche zu Ende sein wÃ¼rde.
