Nous sommes français et, hélas, le personnel en restauration n'a pas toujours fait l'effort de nous comprendre, alors que mon mari parle plutôt bien l'anglais. Loved our stay at this hotel. We are very particular about cleanliness especially as it's away from home, and we were extremely satisfied with the cleanliness. We never had to raise any issues. The room service were swift. Breakfast was amazing! The team at the breakfast were friendly too. Love the lounge with the fire place downstairs, a nice cosy and beautiful place. Amazing interiors and exteriors, and you cannot beat the location. We had a great time here, and would recommend anyone considering this hotel should not think twice and just book it. If we are ever back in lucerne, this is the place we will stay at again, and we don't say this lightly!

Everything about our stay was incredible. The rooms and views were beautiful and clean. The restaurant (breakfast and dinner twice) was delicious - there wasn't a single thing we tasted that wasn't excellent. The bar staff and service was prompt and friendly, gladly delivering drinks and snacks to us as we relaxed in the lobby. Everyone from the desk staff, valet, and the restaurant/bar staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind, and hospitable. We could not have loved our stay. more!

The front of house was very helpful with recommendations of where to eat and where to get the best local chocolates.

The food was good but the portions were. Rey meat-heavy. Any salmon or anything like that? Also, I didnt think scrambled eggs had to have things (like bacon) IN them.

The martinis need to be better. And the glasses need to be chilled, otherwise, the martini just goes lukewarm fast.

The room was a decent size for the price. The only thing I would improve is the available shower gel and shampoo. Not enough. I only got one each for the 2 nights I stayed. I ended up getting Aesop from in front of the hotel.

The staff were the friendliest that we had for our entire 2 week/5 hotel stay travels. I wish I could remember the ladies name that checked us in cause she was so lovely and we had a number of lovely chats.
