Overall experience was great, minimalist aesthetics which I loved, tastefully decorated, great restaurant and breakfast. Some people in the restaurant at breakfast not too friendly , though we are from Australia we are not Caucasians and felt the attitude towards us by some member of the team not all was not great and could see the difference.

Our bed broke one night, with one leg collapsed so my wife slept on a downslope! We notified the front desk the next morning but a remedy (move rooms) was only offered that evening the day before we checked out so we declined.

I made reservation for 3 people, when I arrived the restaurant on time, a waiter took me to a table which only contained culinary for 2 people and say he will bring another culinary. It’s pretty unbelievable this happens in a Michelin recommend restaurant and I didn’t expect such unprofessional service. Also, we requested another table which next to window and can see the river view, but the waiter told us it’s booked by others, however, till the time we left the table was still empty for no one. Food is great but considering the service, I won’t go back nor recommend it to any of my friend.

Sehr gut möglich mit dem Rollstuhl ins zimmer zu kommen. Das zimmer ist etwa klein mit Rollstuhl. Vorallem da es noch einen Stuhl und Tischchen darin hatte. Es hatte auf beiden Seiten vom Bett Steckdosen was wir gut finden. Die Kaffeeauswahl war super haben wir so noch nie gesehen.

Kom je de eerst keer naar Luzern dan zit je met dit hotel op de juiste plaats. In de oude stad, dichtbij de winkels, dichtbij het meer, en dus dichtbij allerlei openbaar vervoer, trein, bus, boot, en een goede invalsbasis om de stad te verkennen. je hebt geen auto nodig om te verkennen.

The view and location was the best part. We stayed at another hotel on our last night that had a better price and was twice as large. The breakfast was also more reasonable. We did like having the ability to get water & ice. We would not stay here again nor would we recommend it to anyone.

On 21 October, I booked a room for 2–4 November (old town view), but I was given a room with a view of a construction site. Construction workers were walking around on the building scaffolding, so I couldn't open the curtains. On 2 November, I asked for another room, but my request was denied. I therefore left on 3 November and found another hotel.

The room was very small. I realise that pictures always differ, but when you can only reach the wardrobe from the bed, it's very disappointing. The space between the bed and the wardrobe was just about enough.

Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zur Durchführung war alles perfekt organisiert. Auch meine Seminarteilnehmer waren begeistert – nicht nur vom wunderschönen Ambiente im Herzen von Luzern, sondern auch vom ausgezeichneten Essen, das wirklich ein kulinarisches Highlight war. Das Hotel des Balances vereint Professionalität, Gastfreundschaft und Genuss auf höchstem Niveau. The prices in Switzerland exceed every other country we've visited and will definitely impact future travel decisions. For example, I absolutely loved the marathon and would recommend it to my many running friends if the total cost of a visit to Switzerland were more in keeping with other countries.
