Attentive serving staff. A fine, but thankfully not overwhelming menu with extensive wine list. The kitchen provided a beautifully prepared and presented complimentary appetizer, delicious. We enjoyed the steak tartar and veal steak; both outstanding, with suggested wine pairings - right on the mark! Truffles and digestif to cap off a memorable meal! Do try the restaurant, you will be satisfied.

Beautiful holiday in wonderful location with very friendly staff. Great extras such as water service on every floor, L’Occitane bathroom supplies and robe/slippers for added comfort. Also really enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink (at our leisure) in the waterfront bar.

Our overall experience was just great due in large part to the friendliness and eagerness to please of every staff person we encountered. During our stay, we encountered a small issue with replenishing our coffee pods. However, the front desk staff were very accommodating and they took care of things immediately. We also had a much larger issue with air conditioning. Again, the front desk staff were accommodating and sent their engineering staff to investigate. The engineers were very thorough in their assessment and tried numerous approaches to correct the situation. They even contacted the equipment manufactuerer of help in devising a solution. We appreciated the effort that the staff put in for this. Evidently it wasn't just our room, but most rooms on the south side of the building.

Wegen einer gesundheitlichen Einschränkung bin ich auf ein relativ ruhiges Ambiente angewiesen, ein ruhiges Zimmer, weil ich auch tagsüber immer wieder im Bett ruhen muss und beim Essen (Frühstück) einen Tisch in einer möglichst ruhigen Ecke, ohne Musik. Deshalb buche ich ein Hotel nie online sondern schreibe ein Mail. Auf mein erstes Mail kam keine Antwort, auf ein zweites ein Angebot ohne auf mein Anliegen einzugehen. Dafür brauchte es eine weitere Anfrage. Die Buchung würde ich deshalb höchstens mit einer 2 bewerten. Als wir dann ankamen, die Überraschung, dass am Hotel renoviert wird, für mich ein zünftiger Dämpfer. Ich hätte doch erwartet, dass man mir das vorgängig offen kommuniziert. Also auch dafür eine tiefe Bewertung. Das Personal war dafür sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat sich bemüht, die Sache so gut wie möglich zu regeln. Gottlob war es auch nicht allzu arg mit dem Baulärm, aber zwischendurch eben doch recht störend. Für das Frühstück hatten wir jeweils einen Tisch reserviert. Das erste Mal hat es gut geklappt, das zweite Mal nicht, aber es gab noch einen entsprechenden Platz und das dritte Mal trotz Bestätigung nicht, der Tisch war besetzt. Das Personal war auch da sehr nett, aber das letzte Frühstück war für mich doch ziemlich unentspannt so.

Our stay was excellent from every aspect. We did get a surprise the first day when we realised there was a person on scaffolding outside the window opposite our bathroom area. They must have got one too as plastic was later put up. Fortunately it was too cold to use the balcony as door handles had been removed. Early access to our room was greatly appreciated after 36 hours of travel.
